Our Leadership Team Sets the Bar

At MorningStar at Silver Lake, we proudly provide independent living and assisted living Everett families can count on. Our community is staffed by a team of extraordinary caregivers who feel privileged to serve seniors as well as learn life lessons from them. To guide our team and set an example of what it means to serve, we are blessed to have a leadership team with all the right stuff. Compassionately leading our team is Heinz Gehner, our Executive Director. With several years serving seniors and working in the hospitality industry under his belt, he says, “I’m proud to be a member of the MorningStar family, encouraged by the caring nature of the company, not only for residents but also for the team and even those in need around the world.” 

Another important member of the leadership team is McAlister Watson who serves as our Wellness Director. She was inspired by her grandparents, Don and Jo, who made a deep impact on her life. McAlister talks about the spirit in which they live—curiously, genuinely, generously; and explains it is what she strives to carry into her life each day. “With unconditional love, they have created a path that sparks ambition for greatness in their children and grandchildren,” say McAlister. 

Our Director of Community Relations is Eric Wollan, who says being around seniors is nothing new to him as he has been around them his entire life. Eric says motivating and inspiring, seniors have given him an example of how to live, and serving them now, is a way to show the gratitude they richly deserve.
